Before being sold for site storage, all of our used shipping containers are inspected, and they are covered against weather and natural water intrusion for a period of 12 months. Since these shipping containers are made of Corten (COR-TEN A-Grade) steel, any rust that does develop on them will take a very long time to remove because they are non-porous. 40ft shipping containers Ten or more years of reliable storage use with little upkeep from any of our containers. All of our used 40ft shipping containers will have a minimum 6-month CSC validity if they are being used for export.
